Ever since Molly's backpack came in the mail she has been walking around the house saying, "preschooler coming through." She is so excited to start school. On Thursday I was able to leave school for a little bit so that I could bring Molly to Little Blessings to meet her teachers. Molly was able to see and play in the room where she will have a little rest and her actual classroom. Then she got to have cookies and milk. It was a quick visit as I had to get back to school. Little Blessings is the same school that Maggie went to. Molly is going to be going there five days a week all day, which is a lot, but we know will be worth it. She will have preschool in the morning, a lunch bunch and then head to the nap room. As long as she is napping for them that is where she will stay, but if that chances her afternoon will be filled with some enrichment activities to keep her busy. Because she will be there all day there are a lot of teachers looking after her. We are excited for her and know she is excited to, but kind of can't believe its already here. They do grow up way to fast.
Molly will get to see her friend Lili on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. But not Layla whom she will miss so dearly. Molly is very confused as to how it is that both her and Layla are starting preschool, but they won't be together. We just keep telling her she will still see her all the time just not at school! We can't wait to see how she does and what she learns!!

First day of First Grade
It has been a crazy and extremely hot start to the school year so I am already behind on my posts. About two weeks ago Maggie started first grade at her new school, Prairie Point Elementary School. She was beyond excited and absolutely loves school. This year she goes to the same sitter as Lucas and then they walk to school together with several other kids. Its a pretty good walk and I know at the end of the day it wears her out, but she is happy and loving every minute of it.
Dave was able to walk with them to school on the first day which was a good thing because they both had an extra bag of supplies that wouldn't fit into their backpack. Andy skipped practice and met them to walk home. Maggie said the best thing about the first day was that she had art, and as of right now she wants to be an art teacher when she grows up!

Summer 2013 in Review
So it has literally been since May that I last blogged. This again is my attempt at getting back into the swing of things. Summer was busy and so much fun. We managed a move, a trip to Disneyworld along with our usual summer favorites like the zoo, 4th of July, the pool, a trip to Galena and more. Here is a look at our summer in pictures!
At the end of May we moved from Plano to Oswego, Illinois. There was a two week stretch where we called Naperville our home because we had an extended stay with Mom and Dad Larson before we could get into our Oswego house!

During our two week stretch we had a family vacation to Disneyworld!

Then we came back, moved, and finished the baseball season!

Even with the move we were still able to host 4th of July as usual, this time in our new house!

Andy turned 35!

The girls squeezed in a two week session of swim lessons. They took them at Oswego East High School through the Delta Aquatics program.

We made it to the Brookfield Zoo...

and to a Kane County Cougars Game...

...my brother made his annual trip from California...

and we made a quick weekend trip to Galena.

Molly took ballet, Maggie did gymnastics ( I know I have a picture, but I couldn't find it!)

We headed to the beach in Braidwood with Shay

Maggie had her preview night at Prairie Point Elementary School, about to start first grade!
