Start of Summer...

Aside from the rain that prevented us from getting to the pool (our favorite summer activity) we still had a pretty busy first week.  Maggie did the basketball camp at NVHS.  She had a blast, learned a lot and met some new friends.  Each day she came home with prizes she had won from different games they played.  On Saturday they were put into teams and got to scrimmage, her team took third place out of all the teams and she got an extra shirt for the victory!

Molly got her own library card and has figured out how to ride her bike without the training wheels.  It is by no means perfect but an accomplishment for sure, plus we have the summer to work on that!

Malory 6 months

I can't believe we have already made it to 6 months!  Malory is a happy baby.  She loves to eat and has had just about everything I could get my hands on that was acceptable for her to try.  This time around I have made her baby food.  Especially since we have hit summer and I am home this just makes sense.  She has had avocado, squash, sweet potato, regular potato, beans, peas, carrots, peaches, mango, apple, pear, banana, and cereal.  We just started putting some cheerios and puffs in front of her and giving her a sippy cup.  She can almost sit up on her own and tripods pretty well.  She rolls and actually this week I caught her doing a full roll.  She loves playing in the bouncy thingy and absolutely loves walks.  Still likes bath time.  Goes to bed great, but likes to get up early, for now anyway, I am hoping it is just a phase.

She got 4 shots at this appointment and reacted just fine.  Doc said she had a mild ear infection so we went ahead and took the meds because of our upcoming trip to Disney.  Otherwise she checked out nice and healthy.

We have ventured to the pool a couple times with her, but the water has been pretty cold and she wasn't much into it, hopefully things will warm up and her attitude will change because the big sisters love pool time.

6 month stats:
weight: 17 pounds 12 ounces
height: 27 and half inches
