Maggie and Molly's first days of school

Monday Maggie had her first day of third grade.  This year her and Lucas are being very responsible and riding the bus together.  They seem to already have the routine down and it has been great.  Maggie has had exciting things to say each day at the dinner table.  I am looking forward to this year as she is in third grade and I am hoping to get some ideas from her teacher!!

On Tuesday Molly got to go to school for a few hours to meet her teacher, meet some classmates and do some activities all while Andy attended a meeting.  Yesterday was Molly's first day of Kindergarten and since it was a teacher work day my principal didn't mind if I was a bit late so Chrissy and I were able to watch the girls get on the bus and send them on their way.  Since it was the first day the bus ran behind schedule and we actually made it back in time to get them off the bus ourselves which was very exciting.  Molly had a great day, played with some familiar friends at recess, went over some rules and was very hungry when she got home.

Preview Night2015

Last week both Maggie and Molly had preview night at their schools.  We headed to Eastview first where Molly will be starting Kindergarten!  She found her classroom, met her teacher, Mrs. Tellone,  and chatted with her for a bit.  Then we explored the school trying to find where are the special places would be like library, art, lunch.  She is beyond excited to get started.  She will go to round up this week and have her first full day on Wednesday.

Then we headed over to Prairie Point so Maggie had a chance to meet her teacher and find her classroom.  We found Mrs. Kulovitz right away and bumped into a few friends.  Maggie is super excited her classroom is upstairs.  She starts today and will be riding the bus with Lucas!!

Malory 8 months

I'm a little late on this post.  Malory turned eight months this month.  We can't believe how quickly time has gone.  She of course is keeping us on our toes!!  In July she got two teeth and now she is almost on the move.  She does a LOT of rocking on her hands and knees and has figured out very quickly how to get from her back to her belly to sitting.  She is going to be crawling in no time!!
