This was also the day that had been planned for our Voller Family Disney vacation reveal. It went on as scheduled, the girls just had to enjoy it via a phone call, which was really just as exciting. Let the countdown begin...

Mother's Day
This Mother's Day we found ourselves at home doing our usual thing and me tending to mom duty for sure. Maggie was recovering from a high fever and Molly was trying to fight it off. We had to cancel all plans and just stay at home. I got to be with my three girls. It was actually really nice, minus the whole sick thing. We missed out on seeing the moms/grandma/nana, but will find some time to make it up to them.

Malory 5 months
Friday (May 8th) Malory was five months old. The time goes by so fast especially at this time of the year when spring activities pick up and school is winding down there is so much going on. I was able to pause for a moment and get a few snapshots of our little lady. She rolls like crazy now and talks, a lot! We started to eat some peas this weekend and she loved them! Now if I could just get her to sleep through the night....
Molly's Preschool Performance and Mother's Day Tea
Last week was a busy week, pretty much as every week is or has been this spring. Molly had a little musical performance on Wednesday night. She sang several songs that she has learned throughout this year.
Then on Thursday Chrissy and I were able to sneak away from school for a little bit in order to enjoy a Mother's Day Tea they had planned. Molly escorted me to my seat, they sang a song, we had a snack, watched a video that included pictures from the whole school year, had to guess when picture was ours and then got a little gift. I am so glad I was able to make it, made my day!

Maggie's First Communion
We all made it to the church...including little Miss Malory. We were joined by Nana, Grandma, and Grandpa. Father John did a great job and the mass was completely kid focused!
Later Saturday afternoon we had a little family celebration with cousins, aunts, and uncles. Maggie planned the meal which included wings for appetizer and Jimmy John sandwiches for dinner. It was quiet, but the perfect way to celebrate!
Congratulations Maggie!

Happy Birthday Molly Lou!
Today is Miss Molly's 5th birthday. As they get older I feel like time just picks up speed, 5 years flew by. Molly had a lot of birthday celebrations, but today was her actual birthday. Andy had a track meet this evening. Luckily, Molly could hardly contain herself this morning and was up early enough for Andy to see her and for her to open up at least one present...a new bike! Its pretty big, but she will grow into it and we have the smaller one she can use without training wheels once she learns how to do that!
Then it was off to school/work as usual. I made some cookies that Molly was able to share with her friends at Miss Leslie's house. They sang Happy Birthday at school too. It was so nice when we got home that I sent the girls to the park and took Malory and the dog for a quick walk. Before dinner Molly opened the rest of her gifts, just a few small things from us and a special necklace from some very special friends...the Ensigns!
Molly requested spaghetti and meatballs, but that is also what she requested Nana to make on Sunday so we went with a different option...French toast and smoothies for dinner. All the cake and cookies had been eaten so Andy picked up a bundt cake that was just enough for the three of us to share! Happy Birthday Molly!

Molly's Birthday Celebrations
Saturday Molly and Layla celebrated their birthdays with their friends (from daycare, preschool, and friends). Since Molly's 2nd day of life her and Layla have pretty much been two peas in a pod and have done so much together. It makes me smiled every time I think about how my best friend was right down the hall from me on the same floor in the same hospital and that our two little ladies have absolutely loved growing up together. Since they pretty much have the same friends and are just a day apart we had another combined birthday party. This time it was at the place where they have their gymnastics class. It was fabulous...the teenagers that are in charge pretty much take care of everything so Chrissy and I were able to snap some pictures and chat with friends while the kids completed obstacle courses, jumped on the trampoline, swung on the rope, did the bars and the balance beam and had some free choice which pretty much equaled to running around wild. This was all followed by some pizza, happy birthday times two, cupcakes, and presents. I know Molly had a blast and she said the best part was having Layla there!! She was completely worn out and slept in this morning.
Then after Malory's morning nap we headed to my parents house to celebrate again with Nana, Auntie Shay, Uncle Drock and Gracie. Thankfully the weather has gotten nicer so the girls were at the park and outside playing most of the time, followed by more presents, more happy birthday, and more cake!
Malory 4 months
At 4 months our little miss Malory is not little at all...
4 month stats:
weight - 14 lbs 3 oz (50%)
length - 25 3/4 inches (93%)
She is actually the exact same length that Molly was at 4 months, but a whole pound bigger! She eats plenty and is quite the little chunk!! The doctor visit went great, Malory smiled the whole time and only cried for a couple seconds when she got her shots. She is doing all she should be from what the doctor noted. She gave us the ok to start cereal and then pretty much once she has the hang of that she can eat whatever. So we gave it a little try....
Malory sleeps through the night when she can, the Dr. Shaw said we were spoiled with the other two, but she will get into the routine eventually. She takes 2 two hour naps (give or take). She is still swaddled and I am trying to get rid of it. She can almost roll over from her belly to her back. She smiles and laughs and talks and spits up but is happy about it....we absolutely love her!
